food intolerance test
i got my results today from a food allergy test and it said i have a MODERATE lactose intolerance and to give up dairy for at least 6 months then introduce it gradually again after that but also that i have a LOW intolerance to wheat, peppers, chillies, chocolate and caffeine. It says to avoid high intake and frequent consumption of these but what is classed as high intake and frequent consumption? what would be the normal consumption of foods which someone who had a low intolerance to them? to eat them every day? every other day? once a week? once a month? please help!
I went thru this same thing. I finally decided to do my own test because the doctor's test was too confusing. I ate only rice, brocolli, bananas, and apples for a week. No one is allergic to them. I got a list of the most likely "intolerance" foods at www.medlineplus.com and www.webmd.com. I think you already have the list from your tests. I added one food from the list. I ate a lot of that food. I drank a gallon of milk in one day. Then waited several days to see if it had any effect on me. You have to separate "tree" nuts like pecans from "ground" nuts like peanuts. I ate 12 eggs in one day. The most fun part was eating 2 big chocolate bars in 1 day. You have to spread it out so you don't get a delayed reaction to your "intolerance" food….. but the websites told me that most food reactions take place very quickly. Finally i ate a loaf of bread in one day and broke out in a rash on my hands and feet. I was allergic to wheat. That seemed impossible. I love pancakes, bread, pasta, cake. I have not eaten wheat for a long time and have never had any problems. I am now starting to eat a tiny bit of wheat; like a slice of pizza every 3 months.
My self-test helped me more than trying to figure out a "normal" consumption of foods. It will drive you crazy trying to constantly monitor your intake.

Every so often my daughter develops what is almost like a "rash" of what appear to be mouthulcers. They develop specifically inside her bottom lip and are quite painful. I wondered what was causing this to happen and if it could be a possible signal of some sort of food intolerance as she does occasionally have pain in her stomach centered around the tummy button. Please help!!
The "mouth ulcer" you say at the lower lip…your daughter may be a "mouth breather" . Mouth breathers breath through the mouth…and may be evidenced by frequent redness of the lower lip and crustings or development of "mouth ulcer". and malalligned teeth.
The pain on the tummy most specifically the center or the belly button…worm. you do have to deworm your daughter.

Jeri Evans Nutrition http://www.jerievansnutrition.com
Most nutrient absorption takes place in the small intestine. Enzymes are activated to split apart the molecular structure of the various nutrients so they may be absorbed into the circulatory or lymphatic systems. Nutrients pass through the small intestine’s wall, which contains small, finger-like structures called villi, each of which is covered with even smaller hair-like structures called microvilli. The blood, which has absorbed the nutrients, is carried away from the small intestine and goes to the liver for filtering, removal of toxins, and nutrient processing.
