What food product has wheat but no corn, allergy test?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: food intolerance test

Hi, I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia but we don't know the extent of it. It is sometime caused by a corn and wheat intolerance. I have been avoiding corn and have had a lot of relief, I just need to see if it's both corn and wheat or just corn. So I need a food that I can buy that I know only has wheat and no corn to see if I react to it. Thanks.

read the label, but maybe whole wheat bread

Can I get rid of a food allergy by eating what I’m allergic to or any other way?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: food allergy

I have always had an allergy to fish. The symptoms include: itchy throat, stabbing pain in chest and esophagus(like bad heartburn), tongue feels furry, mouth swollen, sometimes difficulty breathing/wheezy and loads of mucus.
How can I get rid of this?
Will it work to have a small amount every day until I build a tolerance to it?

First of all I wouldn’t try that without consulting an allergist first. Yes I get allergy shots every month for all kinds of allergies except food; therefore yes what they give you is actually a small dosage of what your actually allergic too in the vials. But I wouldn’t suggest doing this on your own. Things could go really wrong.

any one had a york foods intolerance test and had good results and got well?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: food intolerance test

for what ever it was upsetting them like consapation rash

Hiya,
Both my sisters had a blood test through York and one really gave it a go with avoiding her intolerance - it came out as dairy, so she now does her best to go for alternatives. The other's came out with random things like peaches and olives (?!) so she ignored them.
It's quite expensive for what it is, though and unless you think you have an actual intolerance/allergy, it's not really worth doing.
I would be more inclined to visit someone in the flesh so they could do a skin test, or the one where they hold different food stuffs behind your back and push your arm down to see if you're allergic or not.
Good luck :-)
