Possible food intolerance or just a bug?

I’ve had an upset stomach (nausea, stomach pain, sulfur burps, diarrhea) two days out of the last three and I was wondering how do I know if it’s just a bug or if I have developed a food intolerance? I was feeling unwell for about 6-7 hours on day 1, completely fine on day 2, and then felt unwell all night on day 3. I’m recovering from glandular fever, could it be related to that? The only thing I can see linking the foods I ate on those two days are that I had quite a bit of garlic around 24 hours before I started feeling ill.
Any ideas?

could be the food, could be the fever, could be an allegy, you wont know without eliminating them one by one.
