he has bumps that go from his head down to his back vet said it was a food allergy he gave us some special dog food and he said come back in 3 weeks it’s been 2 weeks and he’s not getting any better. I don’t know what else it could be? my chihuahua’s mom had the bumps and they eventually went away and my chihuahua’s other siblings have it as well.
It could be a food allergy, or an allergy to anything else, maybe dust, rag weed, drywall, insulation, anything, even fleas. I would call the vet/vet tech and let them know the puppy isn’t getting better and see if they have any other suggestions. It might be a good idea to just call other vets in your area too. Be careful when you change the food too quickly, you can cause other health issues. You usually change the food a little at a time. I had a dog that had an allergy to dog food that had lamb in it.
